My seminar, or, That important thing I keep avoiding

I guess I’ll go with the education thing (sigh). These are my plans for primary research:

1. Talk to some people about their opinions of the ed. system in Mexico. I have a few questions typed out, but I’m sure I haven’t thought of some really obvious aspects. So if any of you have any curiosities pertaining to the Mexican education system let me know.
   
2. Go to an elementary school. I asked to be placed in a school as a volunteer on Fridays, but haven’t heard much about that since my arrival to Xalapa. I may just pop into a classroom one of these days and tell a teacher that someone sent me to his/her classroom. See what happens.

My Intensive Spanish class requires a pretty big project that includes essays and a thirty-minute presentation. I’ll just use the same topic as my seminar and get a head-start on the thing. This way I’ll know what else I need to take note of while I’m down here.
