Visit from the fam.

This past week my family was in Mexico with me. We did a lot of the same Xalapa tourist stuff that I did when Alan was down here (Xico, Anthropology Museum). We also went to Parque Macuiltépetl, an extinct volcano in the center of Xalapa; a Botero exhibit; and to a beach in Veracruz instead of Chachalacas. And my host family invited them over for an hour or so, even though the two families couldn’t speak the same language.

They flew back to Kansas this morning. It’s kind of sad not to look forward to any more visitors while I’m here, but I’m anticipating a busy last month and a half.
