Swine Flu is causing quite the panic here in Mexico. It was just announced that schools will be closed until May 6. Who knows what that means for me. A lot of time sitting in my room watching The Fairly Odd Parents in Spanish, I guess. There´s stuff I want to do in Xalapa before I leave, but won´t be able to take advantage of these cancellations to do them since we´ve been forbidden to go into public areas.
There haven´t been any confirmed cases of this strain in Xalapa yet. Two are under investigation. The point is, there´s no need for serious concern on my part yet. The cancellations are for the whole country, not specifically for my area.
