I’ve only had 4 ½ days of school since March 27.

School's been pushed back one more day. So we go back to classes on Thursday. There had been talk of moving classes back until the 11th, so this news is actually good. A huge chunk of the foreign students have gone home. BCA is the only program that hasn’t officially canceled the rest of the semester, so when we return to classes, the School for Foreign Students will be composed of the nineteen of us and some students here independent of a program.

The number of people in the streets wearing face masks has dropped noticeably to just a few more than the usual amount who wear them against pollution, and the number of new cases has also decreased recently. My host-mom and lots of other people think all the hype is the government’s way of taking the public’s mind off the rotten economy or something worse they're trying to pull. Such faith Mexicans have in their government.

  2. I actually can´t take credit for these. A friend found them. Mexico definitely incorporated the face masks into their sense of humor, though.
