Teotihuacan

Yesterday's excursion was to the ruins of Teotihuacan. On the way, we stopped in Mexico City to see Tlatelolco, the sister city of Tenochitatlan, which we visited last weekend. The drive up the mountains near Mexico City gave us a good view of the layer of smog above the city.

The pyramids were impressive. I got a bit of a sunburn and really dusty, but it was definitely worth it. I only climbed the pyramid of the sun, but took lots of pictures of the one of the moon. The site is really pretty huge – over a mile wide.
